Citibank was so concerned about my answer to their lawsuit and my motion to strike that they forgot to answer my counter claim and I obtained a default judgment against them for several counts. It's with great pleasure that I tell the opposing counsel in my case sent me a letter "to enter into a mutual dismissal of the claim and counterclaim." I think if I had more money available, I'd reject the offer and take the thing to trial... but I don't, so that's not prudent. A debt collector recently sued my husband so a friend referred us to Asset Protector Group. The publications we ordered gave us instruction and examples about preparing forms to file in our defense against the lawsuit. Barbara in Louisiana A couple of years ago, my bank refused to correct its mistake which resulted in $400 of bank NSF fees and the closure of another bank account for the same reason. Using the Control Your Creditors techniques, it took me about sixty days before my bank sent me two checks with a letter of apology. I received one check from the first bank covering all the fees it previously charged me in error, and another check from them covering the other bank's fees and a reinstatement of both accounts with a letter of apology. I never believed this was possible until I actually did it for myself. My wife and I were sued this year for almost $5,000. Although the reading material was comprehensive, it was nice to be able to call and talk with a real person who could answer my questions. Wayne in Indiana … my case … We met at the courthouse Thursday … They asked if I wanted to settle and pay the full amounts they were asking, I replied only if the judge orders me to do so. They made the usual threats, had a collection attorney with them. The hearing lasted 1 ½ hours. To their surprise the judge ruled in my favor. I won both cases on accord and satisfaction. I couldn't believe it! I did exactly what the book suggested and the court dismissed the two collection lawsuits against me. After following the instructions and examples in Control Your Creditors, the attorney for the debt collector dismissed her client's lawsuit against me for $10,000! The cost of this program is negligible compared with the prospect of me having to pay this money over a period of years, with interest and possible wage garnishments. I came to you all about a year ago because a creditor had obtained a judgment against me and was garnishing my paycheck. I was afraid and skeptical at first, but I followed your recommendation to take it step by step, and sure enough, I forced the judgment to be reversed and the creditor returned all of the money garnished from my paycheck (about $1,000) and agreed to restore my credit history and leave me alone forever. You guys are simply the best!
My wife and I were just sued by the same bank in two different lawsuits. We followed the strategies outlined in Control Your Creditors as best as we could and with the assistance of The Support Team team assigned to us, both complaints were dismissed against the bank. Now we can restore our credit history with the court's order, this was fairly important to us at the beginning.
My WorkGroup team did exactly what they said. I just won a collection brought against me by a debt collector, the judge dismissed their case with prejudice so they can never bring it back. It only took one hearing and the filing of a few documents. I still can't believe it but thanks to Asset Protector Group for being on my side. Franklin in Indiana I spoke to you a while back about the company who ignored my use of the debt dispute letters and instead put a blemish on my credit report and how Equifax had refused to remove the entry on my credit report after their so-called "investigation". Well, after speaking to you on the phone, I wrote Equifax back. I included my 100 word explanation of my efforts to dispute not only the collection agency, but Equifax apparently ignoring of the Fair Credit Debt Reporting Act. I even included my pending investigation with the Federal Trade Commission (I didn't really write the FTC.....a little attempt at a bluff on my part). I wanted to see how they would handle the "F" word....as in Federal Trade Commission. Well, I am happy to say that today in the mail I received a letter stating: "Dear Mr. Smith, after investigating your dispute for a SECOND time and gathering the facts that you had not only formally disputed the collection agency, but the credit reporting bureau, we have deleted the entry on your credit record based on OUR findings. We are sorry for the inconvenience and have deleted this on your permanent credit record." Fantastic!!! This stuff really does work. I can't thank you enough. I have to say, I am getting pretty well versed at this stuff and am confident that I can do this for the rest of my life. I've probably done it over 20 times since I bought the book two years ago and have probably staved off at least $5000 in debts.
It happened just like the website explains. I was recently sued by a debt collector but the court dismissed their case against me after only one hearing. I was not comfortable going to court myself but the process published by Asset Protector Group made it work and I won, the judge dismissed their case and they can never sue me again. Now I can fix my credit history and start over.
The bank sued me and I applied the Asset Protector Group procedures exactly as the book instructed. The forms were nearly prepared and I only needed to modify them slightly. The court scheduled a hearing and because of the clear and concise instruction, I understood exactly what I needed to argue and the court dismissed the plaintiff's complaint against me. I now have the confidence I need to defend myself again in this type of case. Thanks for your professionalism and prompt attention . I just got the word that the creditor case that I mentioned a while back where they offered a dismissal without prejudice and we countered that we want one WITH prejudice has finally made the offer of a dismissal WITH prejudice and no costs to either party. By the way, this was a case for $30000. Jim in Texas I got home late tonight and in the mail was a notice stating that my (our) notion to dismiss was granted against the debt collector.
I am a farmer and don't really understand these strategies completely yet but the other day Citibank sued me for $6,500, so I followed the guidelines in the course and filed an answer to their lawsuit and a motion to strike their complaint. My motion was granted without a single hearing and I won the case. Citibank's lawsuit was stricken (cancelled) from the record of the court! I cannot thank you enough. I must say I was very impressed with the materials and the amount of work that has obviously gone into the development of the program. The explanation of the steps and the ease of putting the required documents together makes this a program that anyone with a computer can use to alleviate an unbearable debt situation.
